About

When Badra Andrews purchased eleven acres in beautiful Cypress, she knew that its one thousand oak trees, vast green fields and waterfall view would become Houston’s sanctuary. Today Texans are getting married, graduating and celebrating outdoors. A Thousand Oaks is a local, family owned business. We feel the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on families, communities and businesses. Now Houstonians and their loved ones can safely immerse themselves in nature while celebrating life’s sweetest moments.

Badra started her first Business at 23, a Bakery “Rising High” while raising her two young children. At age 25 she opened her 2nd Business, a hair salon & fitness center for women, which she sold 5 years later. That’s when she ventured into her 3rd Business as a partner in Café Caspian Persian Cuisine; finally leading her to her current endeavor in the events and catering industry. Her passion and love for the hospitality business are noted by exceptional customer service and an incredible eye to detail, with the intent of exceeding the expectations of every client.

Badra is a graduate of Goldman Sachs 10K small Business - Alumni 23, and this past year she was inaugurated as the President of NAWBO Houston (National Association of Women Business Owner.) She is dedicating this year to giving back to her community.

She loves to travel, read, cook, practice yoga, and most importantly spending time with her grandchildren.

Her favorite quote to live by “Be the candle that can light up a dark room or be the mirror to reflect it”.

- christmas market - birthday celebration - work celebration - wedding chapel - wedding venue
